UK University Search Fair London
The UK University Search Fair London was an event that took place on Friday 30th of September at the Emirates Stadium. For me it was the perfect way for students to choose which option was the right fit for them, providing students with the opportunity to speak to a wide variety of universities and attend vital seminars, in order to make the right choices about their future, the event was designed to help students decide what they would like to do in the future, whether they wanted to go onto university, do an apprenticeship or just speak to HE providers the; event had it all.
The event was a totally free, fun and fantastic way to gain vital information needed to make a very well informed decision for your future. A free attendee bag was given to students including an academic calendar showing when universities have their open days, as well as an essential application guide book.
The thousands of students who attended got the opportunity to see the numerous stalls by universities getting to know what courses were offered for different levels and interests and what requirements were needed and much more information on their desired universities. This year also offered Milkround School Leavers and their apprenticeship hall with some of the UK's top employers for those students who aren’t sure university is for them.
Students also had the opportunity to attend seminars on how to perfect your personal statement and make it set you apart to universities. There was also a student finance talk explaining to students all they needed to know about how to finance their higher education, how to apply and all the extra details they needed to know. Panels were also given with talks from various different universities on a range of subjects. There was also a special seminar on Oxbridge Applications held by the University of Oxford to aid students in their applications for Oxford and Cambridge.
The fair is not just for students; parents and teachers attended are were more than welcome to come along with their children and students encouraging them and guiding them into making an informed decision about their future.
