If you are thinking of applying for Oxford or Cambridge, then it is important to note that their deadlines are different to the usual UCAS deadline. Your Oxford or Cambridge application will need to be sent off by 15th October 2021 at the latest. It is advised that you get your teachers or tutors to look over your application and help you with it as soon as you get back to school. Medicine, Dentistry and Science UCAS Deadline: 15th October (18:00 UK Time)

The UCAS deadline is officially on 26th January 2022. However, many schools and colleges will set their own internal deadlines. If you are intending on applying via your school then you will have to stick to their deadline. These deadlines can vary, and may be before the Christmas holidays in December. As soon as you find out your school’s internal UCAS deadline, plan out your next steps to make sure you have plenty of time to decide on your final choices and perfect your personal statement.
Having these deadlines laid out like this can seem slightly daunting. Fear not! Planning ahead will ensure that you are well prepared and prevent any last minute panicking in your final year of school. Most importantly, it will make sure studying for your exams remains your main priority.
