Easton and Otley College

At Easton and Otley College we have a first class higher education department teaching a variety of programmes based in Norfolk and Suffolk.

Our programmes are run in partnership with the University of East Anglia (UEA) who award our degrees – one of the top ten universities in the country – and we are thrilled to be working with them.

Our portfolio is diverse and offers programmes that range from agriculture, animal science and welfare, equitation and coaching, wildlife management, ecology and conservation management, fisheries, landscape & garden design, vet nursing and zoology.

We also work in partnership with the University of Huddersfield to deliver initial teacher training programmes.

In Norfolk, extensive facilities offer a friendly learning environment with accommodation for people who want to stay on campus. Our dedicated and passionate staff are experts in their field and our students get to use and benefit from the facilities at nearby UEA in Norwich, a place whose alumni include former Doctor Who actor, Matt Smith.

At the Otley Campus - situated just eight miles north of Ipswich – you will enjoy a modern campus situated amidst the rolling Suffolk countryside. Student accommodation is available in Athena Hall in Ipswich for those who wish to study at Otley Campus.

Both campuses have a long history of delivering higher education and attract a diverse age range of recruits from career changers to people who have come straight out of school. Current and former students include Joy Wilding who has moved away from a successful career in administration to study with us in a bid to gain the qualifications she needs to fulfil her childhood ambition of becoming a zookeeper. Or Tom Brown who has been to Africa, Europe and South America since studying with us as he works hard to make a name for himself as an ecologist and Sue Prentice who moved from a career in London as a lawyer to study on a garden design programme. Trips to South Africa at the Otley Campus via several of our foundation degree pathways are also a possibility for potential students. It doesn’t get any better than seeing the joy of individuals and their families and friends at graduation ceremonies. Seeing our students succeed is the reason why we are here.

We welcome the opportunity to discuss the opportunities that we can offer you and we hope that they will provide the inspiration for you to study with us and develop your career.

Friendships that last forever, memories you’ll never forget. Both can be found at Easton & Otley College and each will prove as valuable to you as your academic achievements. They’re life experiences. Character building and confidence boosting, they instil qualities an employer will be looking for when you step out of your alma mater and onto the career ladder.
