National Apprenticeship Week 2023

National Apprenticeship Week 2023 takes place between the 6th and 12th February, and consists of week-long celebrations of apprenticeships. It brings businesses across the country and from a variety of different sectors together in order to share how positive apprenticeships can be. There are a multitude of opportunities that are on offer for both individuals wanting to take part in an apprenticeships and businesses who are interested in offering them.

The theme for National Apprenticeship Week 2023 is ‘Skills for Life’. This theme reflects how apprenticeships can help individuals to develop the skills and knowledge required for a rewarding career and how businesses to develop a talented workforce that is equipped with skills for the future.

This website offers a variety of tools and resources to help you to get involved with national apprenticeship week. They are offering a range of different online workshops to help you with every step of your apprenticeship journey. You can hear from past apprentices who are at all different levels and stages of their career talk about their experiences doing an apprenticeship. You can also hear from Apprenticeship scheme managers about hiring apprentices which will give you invaluable insight into your applications and interviews. There will be question and answer sessions where you will be able to speak to a panel of experts. They are offering some in-person events too, so make sure you have a look at their website to see if they are attending a town near you.

On this website you can find dozens of live events that take place online for many different apprenticeships in industries including construction, tech, engineering and retail. The companies they work with include the Royal Air Force, MI5, Bentley, Pfizer, Pwc, Amazon and IBM, so you are sure to find a good opportunity in the sector or company which interests you.

However, you don’t just need to limit your apprenticeship search to during National Apprenticeship Week. There are so many online resources and tools which can help you to find your perfect apprenticeship and to help prepare you for every step of your application journey and life beyond.
