We are proud to combine outstanding teaching with excellent individual support. We also give you the opportunity to undertake a wide range of extra curricular activities to personalise your own Burnley College experience.

Our specialist training facilities include state-of-the-art science laboratories, industry standard engineering equipment, a fully equipped children’s nursery, specialist dementia and learning difficulties suite, an aircraft fuselage, trade specific construction workshops, including a renewables energy centre & Worcester Bosch Plumbing Suite and a polytunnel, nectar bar and sensory garden.

Alongside your classroom based academic studies, you will engage in a wide range of activities, industry visits, guest lectures, field trips and residentials. These give you the knowledge and experiences to take your next steps into university study and careers.

Meet new friends and develop your social and communication skills by taking part in our exciting clubs and societies or participate in our extensive range of trips and visits to expand your horizons. These include residentials to Honduras, New York, Uganda, Auschwitz and Pompeii, and a host of museum and theatre visits.We offer a range of health and fitness activities at Burnley College Sixth Form Centre, including climbing, healthy cooking sessions, jujitsu and badminton. You can also become a member of our Sports Academies in Basketball, Football, Golf, Netball or Rugby, where you will receive professional coaching in state-of-the-art facilities and play regular competitive fixtures against local, regional and national colleges. We also offer an Elite Athlete Programme to provide a scholarship and support package for talented sporting individuals.
