Supporting You in Your Studies

The Student Support team is made up of specialist and experienced staff who will help support you throughout your learning journey - from application to progression. They provide confidential, specialist support in all areas and are here to listen to students, whether the problem is College-related or not. They can also provide impartial advice about College policies and procedures.

You will be involved in planning your learning and will be given the opportunity to discuss your aims, progress and learning needs.

A fully qualified and experienced team is available in College to offer you a wide range of support, including: one-to-one support; in-class support; scribes and/or note takers; readers; specialist equipment (e.g. IT software; signers for those who have a hearing impairment; dyslexia specialists; access arrangements for exams for those who are eligible; lunch time ‘Drop-in’ support in the Learning Resource Centre.
