North West Kent College of Technology

North West Kent College remains at the forefront of comprehensive provision of Further and Higher Education. For three years in a row we were rated the top performing general further education college in Kent and South East London, based on results from the Skills Finding Agency (SFA), and our February 2014 Ofsted inspection rated us as ‘Good with outstanding features'.

We provide a wide variety of academic and vocational courses for more than 4,500 full-time students from the main campuses, which are based just outside of South London in Dartford and Gravesend, Kent.

Along with our extensive range of Further Education courses, we have an excellent Higher Education provision that is linked with the University of Greenwich. We also offer part-time courses and a variety of commercial training courses for business.

The college has invested nearly £90 million in new facilities at both the Dartford and Gravesend campuses, which provide some of the best training provisions in the South East.

We continue to place high importance on our educational and business connections in and around the Thames Gateway area. Many of the 120,000 new homes to be built and 180,000 new jobs to be created over the next 20 years, will be along the southern bank of the Thames, from Greenwich through to Dartford, Gravesham and to Swale. Our business connections allow us to not only get students onto Apprenticeships, but also gives them a greater chance of gaining employment once they leave us.
