Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance
Rose Bruford College welcomes students from around the world for BA and MA/MFA degree study in performance, design, management and technical arts. The College also offers short-term and intensive foundation courses. Students are encouraged to be independent thinkers ready to make an impact in TV, Film, Theatre or Live Events. Students benefit from our links with international institutions via student and staff exchanges, collaborative projects and research initiatives.
Our students receive intensive and practical training using the latest cutting-edge techniques, thinking, practices and technology.
The emphasis is on professional preparation. All of the courses foster a collaborative community where students can develop into career-ready professionals.
Students are amongst the profession as they train. They receive teaching from industry professionals, take part in work placements and have opportunities to introduce their work to the industry.
The main Sidcup Campus is in the parkland grounds of the historic Lamorbey House, just 25 minutes by train from Central London. The Lewisham Campus is a 10 minute train ride from Central London.
The Christopher Court hall of residence is a 10 minute walk from the Sidcup campus and 20 minutes by train from Lewisham. There are 168 spacious en-suite bedrooms in flats with a shared kitchen and social area for six students. Laundry facilities, a rehearsal space and secure bicycle storage are available on-site.
There is plenty of privately rented property and rooms available near to both campuses. There are Facebook groups for finding private accommodation and other students to share with.
