We received 87% student satisfaction on the NSS 2017, three percent above the national average. Our subjects also performed well including 100% student satisfaction in History, 95% of Media students were satisfied with their learning community and 93% of Fine Art students were satisfied with the teaching on their course.  

Along-side your degree, our thriving Students’ Union offer a range of support, activities and events. There are over 30 societies and 40 sports teams for you to enjoy in your spare time and events such as our Summer Ball hosting over 2000 students which includes live music, silent disco, funfair and a casino! 

At Open Days, we throw open our doors and welcome everyone to experience a day in the life of a vibrant community focused university.

We've got live bands, a musical theatre showcase, dance classes, a theatre and acting workshop, sports lab sessions and sample lectures.

You can explore all of our disciplines, running from Business, Sport, STEM and Creative Technologies to Education, Social Science and all of the Humanities. Campus tours will be running throughout the day and all our facilities will be open for you to explore. 

Professors and lecturers are on hand for an informal chat and student ambassadors can share their own experiences with you.
