At Kent, you will study in inspiring locations that offer the best of university life, with campuses in Canterbury and Medway. Whether you are looking for a green campus environment, a student-friendly city, creative and professional opportunities, or easy access to London and the coast, Kent places you close to it all.

Our Canterbury campus is set in 300 acres of parkland and is less than a 20-minute walk from the city centre. Canterbury is one of the UK’s great student cities, offering historic streets, independent shops, cafes, restaurants, cultural spaces and a welcoming student atmosphere, all within easy reach of the countryside and coast.

Our Medway Campus offers a dynamic and collaborative student community in a historic waterfront setting. Based in Chatham Maritime, Medway gives you access to specialist facilities, shared social spaces and opportunities to connect with students across the Universities at Medway partnership.

Travelling between campuses is simple too, with Kent’s Free Campus Shuttle service helping students move between Canterbury and Medway during term time. Both locations are well connected, with access to local transport links, London and international travel routes, making Kent a great base whether you are joining us from the UK or overseas.

At Kent, accommodation is an important part of the student experience. We offer guaranteed accommodation for eligible students who make Kent their firm choice and apply by the published deadline, with options in Canterbury and at Pier Quays in Medway. Kent campus accommodation also includes a range of useful extras, such as utility bills, Wi-Fi, contents insurance, 24-hour security, on-site maintenance, and a free Kent Sport Premium Plus membership.

We want every student to feel safe, respected and supported in their university home. That is why Kent offers LGBTQIA+ accommodation opt-in and Moderate Living accommodation, giving students the option to choose a living environment that best suits their preference and lifestyle.

Joining us from overseas? Kent’s International accommodation options are designed to make the transition to life in the UK as smooth as possible, with no deposit, all utility bills included, and contract lengths to suit different needs. International students who apply by the published deadline are guaranteed accommodation on the Canterbury campus or at Pier Quays in Medway.
