University of Portsmouth

The University of Portsmouth is the only university to offer Connected Degrees: a three-year course with a flexible fourth year placement. This means you can choose to take more time to explore your career choices, and to find the perfect employed or self-employed placement. You can also stay connected to the same friends throughout your studies. Then glide into professional life, with full support from the University throughout your placement.

Portsmouth has lively beaches and vivid street art. It’s rich in naval history and buzzing with indie start-ups. It’s a city alive with possibility.

Within a 10 minute walk from campus, you’ll find miles of beaches with two original Victorian piers. Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. Major music, theatre and comedy venues. And Gunwharf Quays designer outlet with bars, restaurants, cinema and bowling alley.

To see for yourself what makes Portsmouth different, join us at an open day or order a prospectus.

Why not check out our subject specific taster days too? Nothing beats getting a feel for a course by joining us on campus at our taster days. Buzzing with purpose and possibility, it's a chance for your students to get closer to the subjects they love. It's a chance for them to pursue the things that matter most. You can find out more here.

Portsmouth is the university that sees you as you are: one-of-a-kind. When you join our friendly community, you won’t be expected to fit into a mould. Instead, we’re here to help you become even more you.
