The School has been recognised in The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2017 for the quality of its teaching and overall student experience. There are a variety of factors that add to the rich student experience and success of the School including small class sizes to allow for personalised practise-based learning; excellent IT facilities using industry-standard software; new laboratories offering teaching and learning resources aligned to the needs of industry; established links with employers to offer our students work experience embedded into their programmes of study; and opportunities to study abroad.

The latest HESA statistics indicate that 91% of Engineering and Computing graduates are in work or further study 6 months after graduating. Our graduates have gone on to work with major companies such as IBM, DELL, Google, Microsoft, CISCO, Hewlett Packard, Morgan Stanley, Sony Pictures, Nikon, Motorola and many more.
