The University of the Highlands and Islands is a multi-campus university and has the largest student population in Scotland, with nearly 37,000 students studying with us each year.
We have 13 stunning study locations for you to choose from, each with their own unique characteristics. You can choose from the rich cultural life of the islands; to a location that has spectacular coasts and mountains; to the bright lights of our city locations.

We do this by being flexible with our entry requirements and offering a range of alternative progression routes through our courses.

We are the only university based in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland and we're a little different - we offer you the choice of studying at one of our 13 colleges and research centres, over 70 local learning centres, or online from wherever you are.
